We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to Dharma Mittra's weekend of yoga workshops, Friday 3rd March - Sunday 5th March. The event will be taking place at Lord's Cricket Ground so we've put together a little welcome pack to help you make the most of the occasion.

The Schedule

Friday, 3rd March

6.30-8.30pm: DHARMA YOGA BASICS: Asana, Pranayama, Yama and Yoga Nidra

Saturday 4th March

9.30am - 11.30am: MASTER CLASS: Advanced Charging Practice

12.30pm - 1.30pm: DHARMA YOGA NIDRA

3pm - 6pm: MAHA SADHANA: The Great Practice of Dharma Yoga

Sunday, 5th March

10am - 12pm: CHARGING PRACTICE with Inverted Posture Focus

2pm - 4pm: CHARGING PRACTICE with Enhanced Pranayama

4.30pm - 6pm: Self Knowledge Satsang and Kirtan

The easiest way to get to the venue is to enter the Ground through the North Gate on Wellington Road.

The Nursery Pavilion is straight ahead once you have entered through the gate.

If you happen to find yourself at Grace Gate, then please enter here, turn right and make your way through the grounds to the Nursery Pavilion.

How to get there

Lord’s Cricket Ground is very close to the centre of London. It is easy to reach by tube, bus, train, bike and road. We suggest you can use Transport for London to plan your journey. Before making a journey to the Ground it is worth checking the TFL Live Travel News.

By Underground

The following stations are all within fifteen minutes’ walk of the Ground: St. John’s Wood: Jubilee line (5 mins) Baker Street: Bakerloo, Circle, Jubilee, Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City lines (15 mins) Warwick Avenue: Bakerloo line (10 mins) Marylebone: Bakerloo line (10 mins) Edgware Road: Bakerloo, Circle, District and Hammersmith & City lines (15 mins) (All timings are approximate)

By Bus

Lord’s is well-served by buses. The 13, 82 and 113 routes run adjacent to Lord's on the Wellington Road (to the east of the Ground). These stop near the North Gate where you will enter the Ground. The 139 and 189 routes run adjacent to Lord's on Grove End Road (to the west of the Ground). These routes stop just a short walk from the North Gate where you will enter the ground.

By Train

The nearest main-line railway station is Marylebone, approximately ten minutes walk from the Ground. Marylebone Station is on the Chiltern line.

Paddington Station is approximately twenty minutes walk from the Ground, for services to West and South-West England and South Wales.

Euston and King’s Cross stations are only a short journey away.

By Bike

There are a number of places to park your bike.

By Cycle Hire

There are several Santander Cycle docking stations within five minutes walk of the Ground, on Abbey Road, St John’s Wood Road, Wellington Road, Lodge Road, Lisson Grove and Prince Albert Road.

By MotorCycle

There are a number of places to park your Motorbike.

By Road

Please note that car parking is often limited and expensive in Central London and we would highly recommend using public transport.

The Ground is 6 miles from the M1 and 1.5 miles from Marble Arch. It is also close to the M40 and M4.

M40: From the end of the M40 take the A40 (Westway). Turn left into Lisson Grove. At the end of Lisson Grove, turn right into St. John’s Wood road. Lord’s is on the left. M1: From the end of the M1 take the Hendon Way, past Brent Cross Shopping Centre and over the north Circular Road (A406). Turn right on to Finchley Road (A41) and continue to Wellington Road. Pass St. John’s Wood underground station on the left and the Wellington Hospital on the right. Lord’s is on the right. Westminster Council offers parking close to Lord's at Kingsmill Terrace (NW8 6AA).

By Taxi

A Black Cab from Paddington station costs approximately £10. Mini cab services will be available if booked in advance.

Everything Else...

Venue Information

Yoga mats will be provided. You are also welcome to bring your own.

There will be Male and Female Changing Spaces and Toilets.

Lockers will not be available but there will be a Cloakroom for coats and valuables. Water and Tea will be provided.

Food will be available to purchase.

There will be Disabled Access into the venue.

What to Bring

This indoor venue will be heated but you may want to bring some warm clothing for an extra cosy Shavasana.

There are no showers at the venue but you may want to bring a towel to wipe your brow or lay on your mat. You may also want to bring a change of clothing for after the practice.

Mats will be provided but if you require props, please bring your own.

You are welcome to bring your own instruments to the Kirtan on Sunday afternoon.


You are welcome to take photos during the event. Please note that the event will be filmed and that photographs will be taken during the workshop.
