Indaba Yoga is excited to welcome globally renowned yoga teacher and blissologist Eoin Finn for the first time ever. The Canadian native has been carving his original tracks through the metaphysical worlds of yoga, philosophy and movement since 1989. He is know for blending science with soul and brings years of experiential anatomy, biomechanics, principles from surfing, movement and nature inspired meditation to his comprehensive style of Blissology Yoga. Join him at a special weekend of workshops that coincide with the recent launch of his new Yoga Optimized book.

Core Happiness: The Connection Between Stability And the Breath Body.
Join Master Teacher and Founder of Blissology Yoga for a workshop that will forever change your yoga and life. Contrary to what most people (including yogis) think, working your core is not about beating your body into submission to get a six-pack or suffering through grueling one-minute boat poses. No, Eoin’s unique “core happiness” approach will teach you to access intelligent, connected strength along the length and space in your joints. You will use the muscles of the feet, the inner legs, the abdominals, and the spine to create the best foundation for long, deep, and calming breaths, which, you got it, will give you “core happiness,” happiness from the inside out, the foundation of Blissology.

Open Heart, Open Hips
Hip-openers are arguably the most popular category of yoga poses. The goal of this workshop is to give you both cerebral knowledge and the mind-body awareness to precisely and safely create the pose that is right for your body, rather than settling for one-size-fits-all generic cues.
The first part of the workshop will be presentation-style combining biomechanics and experiential anatomy. Then we will put these principles in place in a fluid-vinyasa flow practice so you can feel the joy of these principles in your asanas.
Expect to learn unique Blissology principles from Eoin‘s new book, Yoga Optimised such as DUO, Dynamic Unifying Opposition. You will leave this workshop with a whole new toolkit to balance the tension and compression in our hip joints and spine to make our bodies function optimally now and well into old age. Of course, when we feel good, we spread good. Come explore the gifts of this modern approach to the ancient practice we all love.

The Skill of Chill: The Science of Soul
This workshop is grounded in the intersection of science and soul. You will learn insights into the mechanisms of the body that will lead to the experience of energy and the sublime. Meditation will no longer be hard work but a total joy. We’ll learn a Blissology technique called the “Manipura Loop,” where we calm our organs and reset our nervous systems somatically. As we do so, we realize that yoga is a process of subtraction, not addition. We reawaken the universal love insight that we were meant to feel. These tools fuse ancient wisdom with modern science after an insightful lecture. We will enjoy a slow-flow yoga practice that is nothing short of paradigm-shifting.
