Modern secular yoga places great importance on the physical aspects of Yoga. In doing so it negates the essence of what brings great benefit to yoga practitioners.
If you learn how to practice Yogasana you will initially learn that it has four major components.
1. Body
2.Breath
3. Sense
4. Mind
This workshop will illustrate how to integrate the sense and nody sets sets what is known as Vinyasa krama which is often described as breath and movement. We will see how it is far more than this narrow view.
The workshop will contain the four practical aspects of astanga yoga: asana, pranayama, mantra and dhyana(meditation).
With these aspects of practice in mind we will go through a unique sequence of asanas emphasising these components, sense set and mind set ,of Yogasana which are essential to realising the true gift of embodied yoga.
Sessions will be recorded and available for 1 week after each session, for those who are unable to attend the live class. Recording is sent on Mondays after the session. Recording time is not extendable. In order to receive recordings, sessions must be booked in advanced.
