OVERVIEW

Read bodies.
Build programmes.
Adjust with precision.
Use props with purpose.
Teach one-to-one with clarity.
Define your own work.

You can teach – But when you look at a body, can you clearly see what’s limiting it, and know exactly what to do next?

This training develops that.

How you assess what’s in front of you, understand movement, and make decisions that create real change.

Developed by Rebecca Hannah through over 15 years of teaching internationally, across more than 30 countries, The Art of Flexibility is a distinct approach to flexibility training.

It combines strength, mobility, flexibility, and anatomical understanding with a precise, individual way of working.

Expansion focuses on how you apply this in practice. This training teaches you how to think, apply, and build—so you can develop your own.

In Essence

  • See clearly.

  • Decide with confidence.

  • Build work that holds.

Course Information

In this 25h Expansion module, we dive deeper into personalised coaching, assessment, and advanced application. You’ll refine your ability to teach in a way that respects every student’s unique structure, history, and goals—moving beyond standard templates and toward individualised, well-informed teaching.

You’ll learn how to:

  • read bodies with clarity

  • identify what is limiting movement

  • build programmes that are specific and adaptable

You’ll refine how you work with injuries, different structures, and a wide range of bodies—applying the same principles in ways that are relevant to the individual.

You will:

  • sharpen how you use your tools.

  • Apply adjustments based on what the body needs.

  • Use props to develop strength, awareness, and alignment.

  • Build sequences with a clear purpose.

A central focus is one-to-one teaching.

  • How to structure sessions.

  • How to guide progress.

  • How to work with clarity and direction.

Creativity remains central.

Transitions, sequencing, and flow are developed as part of how movement is built—so your teaching is both precise and expressive.

This training also develops how you build your work.

  • Define your niche.

  • Understand your audience.

  • Communicate what you offer clearly.

  • Develop independence beyond studio schedules.

  • Build a way of working that is clear, sustainable, and supports how you want to teach and live.

*Modules will be explored further depending on the overall group work speed.

*Case study will be provided on 1st July and must be completed before the start of the 25h Expansion training. It is recommended to be signed up at least one month before the training in order to complete all the case studies.

Eligibility and Prerequisite

This training is designed for yoga teachers, movement coaches, and dedicated practitioners who want to deepen their understanding of body mechanics and how to work effectively with props and hands-on adjustments.

Non-teachers are welcome; however, a minimum of two years of consistent practice is required.

The focus of this training is not on advancing your personal flexibility or pushing your own practice further. Instead, it is centred on developing the skills to assess, understand, and work with a wide range of bodies.

You will learn how to apply anatomical and biomechanical principles, adapt to different structures and needs, and build confidence in making informed decisions when working with others.

*If you haven’t taken any of Rebecca’ classes, we highly encourage you to do so on her channel, before the training.

Accreditation

The training is counted towards the 50-Hour (25h if you attend a single module) through the Yoga Alliance.

  • 25h Yoga Alliance Continuing Education digital certificate will be provided after completion of the full training.

  • All the modules must be attended in order to receive the certificate.
