OVERVIEW
Develop the strength, awareness, and mobility to safely deepen your flexibility and expand your range of motion.
The Art of Flex-Ability is a comprehensive training designed to help you build a sustainable, intelligent, and creative approach to flexibility. Blending principles from yoga, contortion, dance, and Thai massage, this course offers a unique mix of drills, assists, transitions, and theory to strengthen your foundation and elevate your practice.
You’ll explore how to integrate flexibility work into both group and private teaching in a way that is functional, engaging, and personalized. Whether you’re a teacher looking to better support your students or a practitioner wanting to understand your own body more deeply, this training offers tools you can use immediately—and long-term.
This course is open to teachers and students from any movement background—not just yoga. Whether you’re a dancer, aerialist, personal trainer, or simply curious about deepening your mobility work, this training is designed to support both your personal practice and your teaching.
It is open to all levels of experience and flexibility. One of the core principles of this training is that flexibility is not one-size-fits-all. We’ll explore how to work intelligently and creatively based on individual needs, goals, and body types—and how to reflect that inclusivity in your own practice and teaching.
Course Information
In this part, we dive deeper into personalized coaching, assessment, and advanced application. Building on the strong foundation from Part One, you’ll develop the skills to guide clients effectively, track their progress, and grow your teaching practice with confidence.
In Part 2, we expand on the idea that flexibility coaching must be responsive. You’ll refine your ability to teach in a way that respects every student’s unique structure, history, and goals—moving beyond standard templates and toward individualized, well-informed teaching.
Part Two, will cover:
Core Content:
Advanced body assessment tools (identifying patterns, imbalances, limitations)
Designing customized programs based on individual goals
How to assign effective drills and “homework” to support progress
Creative and intelligent sequencing (group + private formats)
Integrating flexibility into different movement modalities
Teaching labs: cueing, adapting, and responding in real-time
Continued development of safe, effective hands-on techniques
Using props for deeper exploration and support in advanced shapes
*Modules will be explored further depending on the overall group work speed.
*Case study will be provided on 1st July and must be completed before the start of the Part 2 Expansion training. It is recommended to be signed up at least one month before the training in order to complete all the case studies.
