Meridian Yoga: Using Acupoints in Asana
WITH ROSE ERIN VAUGHAN
Course Dates: 1 - 5 July 2026
OVERVIEW
In this 5-day Hatha Yoga immersion, you'll explore the science of subtle energy anatomy and its connection to the myofascial system. Whether you're an experienced yoga student or a teacher, this course offers practical tools for integrating the 12 Energy Lines and dozens of acupressure points into your yoga practice, sequencing, and adjustments.
Course Information
If you have taken previous meridian trainings, this one will offer new insights.
Learn how meridians and 5 Elements can enhance a vinyasa yoga practice
Learn to understand and create seqences for each of the 5 elements
Learn meridian based posture adjustments
Learn to see through the lense of the 12 meridan system
You will learn how to sequence postures to support each organ and its corresponding emotion, enabling you to craft personalised classes for your students or deepen your own practice. By applying targeted pressure to specific acupoints, you'll discover a safer, more profound method for helping students release long-held physical and emotional blockages. These acu-based adjustments will be taught and practiced daily.
The 12 Energy Lines bridge the subtle and physical realms, uniting the emotional and mental dimensions of yoga with the musculoskeletal, myofascial, and organ systems. Meridian-based asana makes this intricate system accessible and experiential. We’ll also explore key acupressure techniques to support personal wellness and self-awareness.
Each day balances Pranayama, Asana, and relaxation with insightful lectures and group discussion.
