Blurb: This four week course introduces you to Sanskrit, the language behind the system of Yoga. In this course, we will cover:
1. The system of Sanskrit chanting
2. Some background philosophy, covering such topics as OM and the chakras.
3. Reading and writing of the Sanskrit alphabet.
This short course would be perfect for anyone who would like to deepen their understanding of the thought and culture that lies beyond Yoga. Learning Sanskrit is also a potent spiritual discipline in itself and can provide a steady source of wisdom and strength.
