Within this workshop, Charlie will blend the yoga the body (Asana) and the yoga of sound (Nada) with a seasonally balancing restorative yin yoga asana practice followed by an hour’s soundscape. Weaving in breathwork and micro-meditation practices taken from Shaiva-Tantra & Daoism, Charlie will take you on a journey physically and mentally with the aim of aiding a skilful seasonal transition from late summer (relating to the spleen) to Autumn (relating to the Lungs), and elementally from earth to metal. The practice will conclude with a 1-hour soundscape using 4 gongs, Tibetan Singing Bowls and other sacred sounds to give the body an opportunity to absorb the residue of the physical practice and continue the process of deep release and transformation.
This practice is suitable for anyone.
If pregnant it is best not to receive your first gong bath during pregnancy.
